Back End Software Engineer

Our client is Asia's leading Insurtech startup, providing group insurance brokerage services in Singapore. Their employee benefits platform allows employees to use the employer’s flexi contribution to choose what they need in terms of insurance protection/treatment versus prevention and wellness. It provides flexible benefits, workplace wellness, and benefits administration services. The company also provides employee benefits brokerage services; and administers flexi (flexible) and self-funded benefits plans, acting as an outsourced third-party administrator for human resource departments of various companies.

• Designing and developing APIs with a focus on performance and scalability
• Researching, analysing, evaluating and documenting requirements for software and web applications

• Experience in developing REST APIs for web applications
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming. Work experience with C# is an advantage
• Experience in designing, building, running and scaling high volume, low latency transactional applications. Work experience with Cassandra or similar NoSQL database is an advantage
